Has the recession hit Deal or No Deal on Jackpotjoy? When this game first hit the internet there were regular jackpot winners and increased excitement as the progressive jackpots continued to hit new heights. However, since the million pound winner back in January 2009 things seem to be a little bit flat. Is it the credit crunch? Or has the shine gone off Deal or No Deal?
As our DOND Trackpot shows below, there have only been four Deal or No Deal progressive slots winners in 2009 over on Jackpotjoy.
The current jackpots are also low, and it's taken almost 4 months for the 20p jackpot to get close a quarter of a million pounds. At it's current rate, and assuming no one wins, it will take another 12 months before it comes close to the £1.3million record jackpot win.
It could well be that punters are being more cautious with their gambling money, or that quite simply the Deal or No Deal fad has well and truly started to fade. When the game first appeared on JPJ it was an exclusive, however it's now a mainstay on most game or casino sites. A millionaire has been created and there's little new to achieve.
Perhaps it's time for a revamp of the Deal or No Deal game to spark some life into the format?
