However the new game from Jackpotjoy is a little bit different - it's called Hambette and the theme of the 25 line 5 reel slots is American Diner. Hambette launched at Jackpotjoy earlier this month (June 2009) and the game features pictures of diner staff (waitress and chefs) plus burger, fries and a shake. The food items are important as if you get all three then you're able to play the "Meal Deal" free spins bonus round. When ever they drop in you'll be told although when we tried the game we mainly only head "one burger"!
Fortunately we did get to a bonus round and this is quite fun as this is where the characters pop up. You get a number of free spins and the aim is to fill menus with burger, shake and fries. Every spins ticks off the item on a menu and you win when a menu is completed. The more groups of three you get the higher your bonus.
The game is accompanied by a jazzed up 60s rock n roll track and this fits in well with the theme. All in all it's fun slots game and it's nice to see something clever that isn't based solely on a known movie, character or tv programme.
